VARIETY: Cortese – dry white

VINEYARD: The vineyard that gives rise to this wine is located in the classic Gavi area. Soils consist of calcareous marl. Manual harvesting takes place in mid-September.

VINIFICATION AND AGEING: Harvested by hand, immediately destemmed and crushed. Fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. It remains in contact with the indigenous yeasts for a few months before bottling. Excellent in its early years, it retains its characteristics over time.

This wine is suitable both to be enjoyed now and for moderate ageing.

Colour: light straw yellowi;
Bouquet: fresh and fruity, with mineral notes in evidence;
Taste: savoury, dry with good acidity. delicate hints of almond.

Typical traditional Piedmontese white wine. It is excellent throughout a meal, perfect as an aperitif.
