VINEYARD: Our Roero Arneis comes from the Roero hills, rich in limestone and sand. Here, at 250m als in perfect South-East exposure. The grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING: The must is fermented at controlled temperature tanks at 17°C for 20-22 days. After fermentation it aged on yeasts for 4 months with frequent batonnage.
DESCRIPTION AND TASTING NOTES
This wine is suitable both to be enjoyed now and for moderate ageing.
Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections;
Bouquet: fresh and delicate scents of acacia and hawthorn flowers alternate with fruity notes reminiscent of white melon and pear;
Taste: the mineral notes give it a fresh, harmonious and pleasantly savoury taste.
It is a wine that goes well with fish and shellfish, white meat, seasonal vegetables and summer salads. Excellent as an aperitif or with Japanese cuisine too.
