After the soft de-stemming of the bunches, a traditional maceration in contact with the skins for at least 10 - 12 days is carried out at a controlled temperature. After racking, the wine immediately conducts the malolactic fermentation. The aging in the cellar lasts for 4 - 5 months in stainless steel tanks. The bottled wine remains a few months in the cellar in a lying down position for perfect refinement
Color : Strong ruby red with bright reflections.
Bouquet : Pleasantly vinous with intense aromas of red fruit, hints of cherry, and spices on the finish.
Taste : Full and fruity, fresh and soft, excellent drinking, enhances the typical Barbera fragrance. The tannins are sweet and silky, giving a pleasant and persistent finish. The characteristic structure of Barbera makes it an excellent wine when young, but allows it to stand over time, in fact it is good for brief aging.
A wine that can be enjoyed throughout the meal, it has an extraordinary ability to adapt to the most varied dishes. It is enhanced with appetizers, rich first courses and important meat dishes. Excellent also with light dishes and salads. It is ideal on warm summer evenings when young and served slightly cool.
