Monferrato red Dop
The vineyards are located on the Agliano Terme hill, in an area known as "Ponticelli", with calcareous marl soil.
The harvest is done entirely by hand.
Grapes from Certified Sustainable Agriculture.
After the grapes are harvested, the bunches are carefully de-stemmed, and the fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The aging in oak barrels of about 500 liters lasts for a year or so.
After bottling without filtration, the wine bottles are kept lying down in the dark in the aging cellar for a few months.
Color : Ruby red with garnet reflections, typical of Nebbiolo.
Bouquet : Rich of black berry aromas, spices, pepper and cocoa
Taste : Soft, intense and elegant with a good minerality and well-balanced tannins
Like all Nebbiolo wines, given the complexity of its tannins, it is well paired with structured and tasty meat dishes.
