The vineyard that produces this wine is located in the classic Gavi area.
Soils consisting of calcareous marl.
The manual harvest takes place in mid-September.
Vinification and ageing
Harvested by hand, immediately destemmed and pressed. Fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
It remains in contact with the native yeasts for a few months before bottling. Excellent in the first years, it retains its characteristics over time.
Description and tasting notes
This wine lends itself both to being appreciated immediately and to a moderate aging.
Colour: light straw yellow with greenish reflections;
Nose: fresh and fruity, with mineral notes in evidence;
Taste: savoury, dry with good acidity and delicate hints of almond.
Food pairings
Typical traditional Piedmonts’ dry white wine.
It is excellent throughout the meal, perfect as an aperitif.
